(Simmered Pumpkin with Minced Chicken Sauce)
Pumpkin is a popular summer vegetable in Japan.
It is rich in Vitamin C, E, carotene and vegetable

Japanesecuisine. Adding chicken or meat makes it a delicious main dish.
Ingredients (4 servings) ＞
600g of pumpkin, 2 cups of water, 2 tsp. of
Dashi-no-moto (Japanese powdered stock), 3 tbsp. of sugar, 3 tbsp. of
soy sauce, 2tbsp. of Mirin, salad oil
150g of minced chicken, 1.5 tbsp. each of sugar, Sake
and soy sauce, 1.5 tbsp of cornstarch, 1/2 cup of water, salad oil
