Joy & Sports of Autumn  Ippei & Sayaka

On Health-Sports Day (October 10), sports and events will be held by gThe Association Promoting Sports & Health of Funabashi City (Supo-Ken)h.

The Board of Education of Funabashi City, the Conference of Social Welfare of Funabashi City and many voluntary groups support them.

Everyone can join them and can experience Walking Rally, New Sports, Crafts, Olden Time Games, etc.

  1. Citizensf Walking Rally (You will start from the following 12 stations and finish in Undo-Koen)

    Registration time:  9:00-10:00

    Funabashi and Higashi-Funabashi Stations of the JR Sobu Line, Tsukada and Magomezawa Stations of the Tobu Noda Line, Hasama Station of the Toyo Rapid Line, Maebara, Takane-Kodan, Takifudo, Misaki, Futawa-Mukodai, Yakuendai, Kitanarashino Stations of the Shin-Keisei Line

  2. Walking Rally of Wheelchairs (You will start from the track and field ground of Undo-Koen and finish at the same place)

    It will cost 300 yen for adults and 100 yen for primary and junior-high students to participate in each of these. You will be given drinking water and a participation prize.

  3. Waiwai Festival

    Place: The track and field ground and gymnasium@of Undo-Koen

    Time: 10:00-15:00

    It is free of charge.

    1. New Sports Hands on Corner

      In the track and field ground: ground golf, flying disks, quoits, trampoline, struck out, sports Chambara (sword battle), and Sugoroku (Japanese game of dice) rally

      In the gymnasium:  indiaca, bound tennis, darts, etc.

    2. Crafts and Olden Time Games Hands on Corner

      In the track and field ground: pencil balloon, Waribashi(split table chopsticks) gun, Beegoma (Japanese top), Kendama (cup and ball toy), Origami (folding papers), and Otedama (beanbag)

    3. Attractions

      In the track and field ground: performed by the Fire Department Band, the Brass Band of Funabashi Municipal High School, the Baton Club of Toyo High School, the Asahi Drum Club, the Unicycle Association of Funabashi, the Recreation Dance Association of Funabashi, the Wheelchair Social Dance Association

    4. Flea markets and booths

      The welfare and cooperative groups do them.  50 booths that sell food, drink and others are going to be opened.
