@

H.C.Andersen is a Fairy Tale Author who is loved around the world. Andersenfs home town, Odense City, Denmark, is one of the sister cities of Funabashi.

For the celebration of H.C.Andersen bicentenary, an Andersen Studio kit designed and made in Denmark was brought and assembled inside the Andersen Parksf Children Art Museum in Funabashi.

And its grand opening ceremony was held on April 19 with the presence of the Crown Princess of Denmark, Mary Elizabeth.

Before, the studio was only available in Odensefs Children Culture Center, but now children can experience in becoming heroes/heroines of Thumbelina by wearing costumes and make-ups in Funabashi studio because it had come all the way from Odense to Funabashi for the first time.
