gIchiyazukeh(Pickles salted overnight)

We often make instant pickles by salting vegetables such as radish or cucumber overnight. We call it gIchiyazukeh. It tastes simple and light and fit for rice at breakfast.

Incidentally, we also apply the same expression to cramming right before an examination. A neuromedical scientist at Harvard University deliberately concluded his research that the knowledge crammed overnight does not stay long in the brain and disappear in a few days

.

We need step by step daily effort and continuous hard work to attain something. This rule applies to every thing. Learning foreign languages or improving your talents, maintaining friendship are no exception. No good result can be expected from gIchiyazukeh works or policy making. gIchiyazukeh may be good only for the instant pickles.
