Clean-up Funabashi Day

In order to keep Funabashi clean, citywide campaigns are implemented twice a year in spring and autumn involving as many citizens as possible.

On the morning of November 17, the 3rd Sunday, this year, the participants in this campaign will clean roadsides/gutters and pick up cans/bottles/other trash in their area in groups of each chokai/jichikai (neighborhood association) members. City’s garbage trucks are waiting at their nearby primary school to pick up the trash.

Why don’t you take part in this campaign by asking to your neighbors as to time and place to get together ? It is a good chance to get acquainted with your neighbors.
