When you are expecting a baby

When you are expecting a baby

When you become pregnant, please go to Kenko Zoshin Ka, the Health Promotion Section at Funabashi City Hall, and take your Resident Card with you.  After you fill out the form, you can get the “Maternal (Mother) and Child Health Handbook” and health checkup slips.  The professional health advice and explanations are also available there.

Maternal (Mother) and Child Health Handbook:

This handbook, called “Boshitecho”, is very handy for recording the progress of your pregnancy, unborn baby, childbirth and baby’s growth.  You will also need your “Boshitecho” when your child gets vaccines later on as a junior or high school student.

Health checkup slips:

These slips enable you and your baby to get some of the necessary health checkups partly free of charge.

The handbook and health checkup slips are also available at the following facilities: General Service Center at 5F of FACE Bldg., the public health centers, the City Hall branches and liaison offices.  For more information, please call Health Promotion Section at 436-2382.
