Funabashi Cleanup Day on Nov. 18

In order to keep Funabashi clean, citywide cleanup campaigns are implemented twice a year in spring and autumn involving as many citizens as possible.

On the morning of Nov.18, the 3rd Sunday, the participants in this campaign will clean roadsides/gutters and pick up cans/bottles/other trash in their area in groups of each Chokai or Jichikai (neighborhood association) members. Garbage trucks are waiting at their nearby elementary schools to pick up the trash.

Why don’t you take part in this campaign? It will give you a chance to get acquainted with your neighbors. For details on starting time, place to get together, etc.,
