Nov. 15, the 3rd Sunday is Cleanup-Funabashi-Day

In order to keep Funabashi clean, citywide cleanup campaigns are implemented twice a year involving as many citizens as possible.

On the morning of this day participants in the campaign will clean roadsides/gutters and pick up cans/bottles/other trash in their area in groups of each Chokai or Jichikai (neighborhood association) members.

Garbage trucks will be waiting at their nearby elementary schools to pick up the trash.

Why don’t you take part in this campaign?

It will give you a chance to get to know your neighbors.

For details of starting times, meeting places, etc., ask one of your neighbors.
