On the outskirts of Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture, Kawamura Memorial Museum of Art (KMMA) stands like a setting of an old European castle in the broad rural area.

Its large collection of art-works contains Rembrandt, French Impressionists like Monet and Renoir as well as European Modern Art and American Art since 1945.

Japanese Traditional Paintings of such as Ogata Korin and Hasegawa Tohaku are also exhibited.

A special display of Morris Louis will be held till the end of November. Visitors can enjoy the natural environment stroll in each season besides the art-works at KMMA.
