The Kagura performed at the following shrines are Japanese traditional folk arts inherited by ujiko (people under the protection of the local deity) and local people.

These are Funabashifs Intangible Cultural Asset.

Especially, Yo-kagura, performed at night, will inspire you with its mystic atmosphere.

Chrysanthemums are regarded as representative autumn flowers in Japan, like cherry blossoms in spring. Chrysanthemums raised in flat pots will be exhibited from 10/28 (Tue) to11/9 (Sun) and cut flowers from 11/3 (Mon. Holiday) to11/9 (Sun)

gJoya-no-Kane (the watch-night bell)h

From New Yearfs Eve (midnight of 12/31) to the new year, temples ring the watch-night bell 108 times, wishing to relieve the human sufferings caused by menfs earthly desires, which amount, according to Buddhist belief, to 108.

People see the old year out and the new year in, listening to the sound of temple bells.
