In spring, cherry blossom is very
beautiful. We will introduce “Chidorigafuchi” in
Tokyo, which is famous for
a lot of cherry blossoms.
“Chidorigafuchi” in Chiyoda City
in Tokyo is situated around five minutes’ walk from
Kudanshita Station or Hanzomon Station of Tokyo
Metro, and there are various kinds of about 430
cherry trees along the moat of the Imperial Palace.
The cherry blossoms beautifully
harmonize with the stone walls and the water in the
moat. There are days when we can enjoy the cherry
blossoms lighted up at night.
In addition, every
year from the end of March till the
beginning of April the event named “Chiyoda Sakura
Matsuri” (the Festival of Cherry Blossoms in
Chiyoda) is held in “Chidorigafuchi” and various
other places in Chiyoda City.
You can get the guide book of this
festival in the stations of Toei (Metropolitan)
Subway or other places from the middle of March.
For details, please ask “Chiyoda-ku
Kanko Kyokai” (Chiyoda-ku Tourist Association)（(03-3292-5530）.
You can get there by train in around
40 minutes from Funabashi.
Why don’t you visit it with your
family or friends?
